We are passionate about the growth and development of black owned SMME’s, in alignment with Government’s National Development Plan. In order to facilitate this growth and development we acquire funding from companies in the private sector and provide professional services to these entities to develop them to be sustainable suppliers to our funding partners. This facilitates access to the economy of South Africa and also contributes to the upliftment of previously disadvantages black entrepreneurs and communities.
WHO ARE WE
MISSION STATEMENT
We are focused on stabilising and growing enterprises that will graduate to sustainable enterprises, which in turn will lead to job creation, contributing to the economic growth in South Africa.
It is impossible to promote meaningful enterprise development (ED) through financial support and access to market alone. Entrepreneurs commonly lack understanding of the most basic of business fundamentals. We recognise the critical need for business skills training and mentorship by implementing appropriate business development services (BDS) alongside other types of financial and non-financial ED support, in order for ED recipients to grow into reliable suppliers.
VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to be pivotal role-players in economic transformation in local communities and at national level, through advancing the sustainable growth of entrepreneurial Black businesses.
CORE VALUES
Assisting companies with alignment between businesses stated motivations for Enterprise Development and its strategic implementa¬tion. This requires a shift from a compliance approach to one driven by outcomes and impact.
Bridging the business skills gap of small and emerg¬ing businesses.
To be a driver in the corporate sector for a collaborative process for devis¬ing and sharing Enterprise Development best practices and for pooling resources to implement sophisticated, private sec¬tor initiatives.

OUR PROCESS

We are of the opinion that incubation is not a one-year, once off process but rather an ongoing process that will ensure that the enterprise beneficiary becomes sustainable.
Phase I: Enterprise Beneficiary Engagement and Selection
We begin the process by engaging with Black Owned beneficiaries, to assess their business issues and needs. The result of this engagement should be the identification of entrepreneurs who are committed to persevering and growing their businesses and are willing to be part of phase II.
Phase II: Beneficiary Assessment of Barriers
This phase involves the following:
- A needs assessment and gap analysis
- Developing a project plan
- Business insight for the beneficiary
- Gathering of supporting data required to ensure that this intervention will benefit under the Enterprise and Supplier Development program as defined in the B-BBBEE codes
Phase III: UBD Programme
The programme consists of the following interventions to ensure on-going sustainability and growth of the beneficiary:
- Business Coaching
- Legal Advice
- Accounting services
- Ad hoc training
